Our Battle Fields tour with Tony Banham, author of Not the Slightest Chance, ended at St Stephen's College. The building below was the hospital near Fort Stanley on Stanley Peninsula back in December 1941. It was overrun by the Japanese on Christmas day 1941 and the site of some horrific acts by the Japanese. Today the hospital is the Library at St Stephen's College.

There is a small museum in the building and these are the only artifacts they have of the 1941 Battle of Hong Kong.
After St Stephen's School we stopped near the Stanley Market for lunch. Another very good Chinese meal. Then a bit of time was spent in the Market again before heading to Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence.
