This evening we met up with the VAC Delegation and some local guests at the Verandah Restaurant in Repulse Bay for a Dinner hosted by VAC. At the dinner we said farewell to the Veterans, they headed back to Canada the following day. The dinner was an awesome North America style meal, complimented by great conversation and a few speeches.

Here are a few photos of the evening, starting with drinks out on the front lawn. Yes, this is right next door to the Victoria City Seafood Restaurant we had lunch at the day before.

You can see where they got the name for this restaurant. Yes, the restaurant spanned the long and narrow veranda on the front of the building. The presentations were made from the center of the veranda and large projection screens at both ends played a slide show of pictures from the past few days.
